1. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
1.1 By using the Services, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”). If you violate any provisions of this AUP, we may suspend or terminate your access to the Services without notice in accordance with the Terms.
1.2 All defined terms used in this AUP have the same meaning as defined in the terms of use, unless the context requires otherwise.
2. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES AND CONDUCT
2.1 You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities when using the Services, or allow any person to use your account or the Services, to do the same:
- (a) In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;
- (b) In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
- (c) For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way, or to bully, insult, intimidate or humiliate any person;
- (d) To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam);
- (e) To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware;
- (f) To upload any Content which breaches the content standards set out below in paragraph 3 of this Schedule 1; and/or
- (g) Engage in any other activity that encourages any person or entity to breach the terms of use (including this AUP).
3. CONTENT STANDARDS
3.1 These content standards apply to any and all Content (including any applications) which you contribute to our Site or App, and to any interactive services associated with it. These content standards must be complied with in spirit as well as to the letter. The standards apply to each part of any Content as well as to its whole.
3.2 urfile.in will determine, in its discretion, whether Content breaches these content standards.
3.3 Content you contribute must not:
- (a) Be defamatory of any person;
- (b) Be obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
- (c) Bully, insult, intimidate or humiliate;
- (d) Depict or facilitate gratuitous violence or other dangerous activities nor be related to terrorism, such as content that promotes terrorist acts, incites violence, or celebrates terrorist attacks;
- (e) Lack reasonable sensitivity towards or capitalize on a natural disaster, atrocity, conflict, death, or other tragic events;
- (f) Promote sexually explicit material, sexual content or profanity, including pornography, or any content or services intended to be sexually gratifying;
- (g) Include child sexual abuse material or sexualizes minors, including content that promotes paedophilia or inappropriate interactions targeted at a minor;
- (h) Promote violence, incite hatred, or promote discrimination against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or any other characteristic that is associated with systemic discrimination or marginalization;
- (i) Infringe any Intellectual Property Rights of any party or encourage or induce infringement of Intellectual Property Rights;
- (j) Be likely to deceive any person;
- (k) Promote any illegal content or activity;
- (l) Be in contempt of court;
- (m) Advocate, promote, incite any party to commit, or assist any unlawful or criminal act;
- (n) Facilitate the sale of explosives, firearms, ammunition, or certain firearms accessories or instructions for the manufacture of explosives, firearms, ammunition, restricted firearm accessories, or other weapons;
- (o) Contain or feature user-generated content without additional precautions as listed in the original text.
- (p) Expose users to deceptive or harmful financial products and services.
4. DETECTION
urfile.in may (but, to the extent permitted by applicable law, is not obliged) deploy technological measures in the Services that are designed to detect uses of the Service that violate these terms of use including without limitation this AUP. You agree that we may use these measures and that you will not seek to disable or circumvent them in any way.
5. REPORTING MECHANISM
If you become aware of any person using the Service or engage in any acts that violate any applicable law or regulation and/or this AUP, you may contact us at [email protected]. We will process all reports as soon as possible in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
